On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand

When it comes to our faith, there simply is no messing around when it comes to where we stand. Those who are unsure of their faith really do need to step it up and do some soul searching. This world is in the End Times and many of these biblical prophecies have already come to pass. I really do not want to get into any of that in this post. What I do want to do is express my position as a Christian who loves the Lord with my entire being. It seems like I am being repetitive in this, but I also do not believe we can ever profess our faith too strongly or too often.

Several blessings came my way over the past couple days. Through my ministry, I've had the opportunity to witness to many people around the world. This is all through Facebook and my blogs. The messages that come in are heartbreaking. These dear friends do not seem like they are not that far away. All it takes is sending a note and we are connected. The arms of God are far reaching, most definitely. Our words can save or destroy a life. My words will always be words of life; life from the Cross.

It is critical to remain alert as to the schemes the devil will use in an attempt for us to waver in our walk with Jesus. How do we remain alert? How do we know? Simple. When it goes against God's Word. The only thing is we have to have our bible with us at all times to test everything against scripture. So, what next? There is always our 'gut' feeling or 'intuition', which is really the spiritual discernment gifted to us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I used to fall prey to the devil's schemes. Now I am much more alert, and God is always revealing deception to me. Thank you, Lord! The warrior side of me wants to fight for my position as a Christian, while the loving side of me wants to simply share the amazing wonders the Lord has worked in and around me since I completely surrendered my life to Him. We are persecuted and told we are too Christian to be of any worldly good. Who cares if we are no good in the world's eyes? They are blind, but I love them and pray for them.

I heard this song by Natalie Grant tonight, "I Will Not Be Moved". It is my new Anthem. There is so much power in her spirit; she is a warrior with such a beautiful loving spirit at the same time. I love this because it conveys where I stand and who I am. No matter what comes my way, I will not let trials, temptations, or deception move me from my Rock. I may stumble, but my Lord Jesus is right there, helping me stand. ~ Peace ~

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and

puts them into practice is like a wise man

who built his house on the rock.

The rain came down, the streams rose,

and the winds blew and beat against that house;

yet it did not fall,

because it had its foundation on the rock.

But everyone who hears these words of mine and

does not put them into practice is like a foolish man

who built his house on sand.

The rain came down, the streams rose,

and the winds blew and beat against that house,

and it fell with a great crash."

Matthew 7:24-27

I Will Not Be Moved

I have been a wayward child
I have acted out
I have questioned Sovereignty
And had my share of doubt
And though sometimes my prayers feel like
They're bouncing off the sky
The hand I hold won't let me go
And is the reason why

I will stumble
I will fall down
But I will not be moved
I will make mistakes
I will face heartache
But I will not be moved
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
I will not be moved

Bitterness has plagued my heart
Many times before
My life has been like broken glass
And I have kept the score
Of all my shattered dreams and though it seemed
That i was too far gone
My brokenness helped me to see
It's grace I'm standing on

I will stumble
I will fall down
But I will not be moved
I will make mistakes
I will face heartache
But I will not be moved
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
I will not be moved

All the chaos in my life
Has been a badge of war
And though I have been torn
I will not be moved
I will not be moved
I will not be moved
No

I will make mistakes
I will face heartache
But I will not be moved
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand
I will not be moved
No

"He Only is my ROCK and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. In GOD is my salvation and my glory: THE ROCK of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Trust in him at all times, ye people, Pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us." Psalm 62:6-8

"There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God." 1 Samuel 2:2
