Reminders of Life through Death
Were you ever overcome with tremendous gratitude to Jesus for taking a loved one home? Gratitude for His rescue from suffering, pain or torment? Gratitude for not letting the devil win?
Sometimes the wounds run so deep, the darkness is so thick and heavy, and the bondage is so tormenting that physical death is best so that our heavenly Father can embrace and rescue their soul, bringing eternal peace and wholeness. All it takes is one glimpse of His presence; one message straight to the depth of the heart, to reveal the light of Heaven in a dark existence. To know Jesus is really there and has prepared a place for us; how incredible is that when one has only known nothing but the opposite of who Jesus is.
There are many grieving today and I am grieving with you. But in my prayers I was reminded of how the Lord longs for our joining Him in His Kingdom. He longs for us to be in His presence forever. I will celebrate for those leaving this world for the better life waiting for them in heaven. And I am praying for those grieving, that you may be comforted in your tears with the touch of the love of Jesus, drawing you to the peace only He can bring from His heart to yours. Much love to you, my family and friends. Amen.
Psalm 34:17-20
"The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. For the Lord protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!"
